Texas A&M vs ku

To celebrate my birthday, I headed to College Station with my family to watch the Aggies take on ku at Kyle Field.

This was Harrison's first trip to visit his future college campus.   First, we hit up Kolache Rolfs for breakfast. Then, we headed to the stadium.  There are always tons of activities, including tailgating on game day.  We first tried to catch the band marching in, but soon realized we were about an hour late for that.  We visited the Maroon Out Shirt line to buy this year's Maroon Out shirt.
Steven and I visited with an Ol' Ag (the mom of one of Steven's Corp of Cadet members).  She had an extra ticket for us to use to get 4 month old Harrison in the gate.  Yes, it is ridiculous that even lap children have to have a ticket to get into Kyle Field.
We finally got to our seats, and were able to enjoy an Aggie victory!

On the way back to the car after the game, we ran into our cousins who were tailgating outside of the Rec Center.  We visited with them, and then headed to The Chicken Oil Company for a delicious burger.  At some point we visited a tent sale (which has tons of shirts and misc Aggie gear) on sale for cheap.

After dinner, we all loaded back up in our cars and made the trek back home.  Everyone was exhausted!

We had a lot of fun hanging out in College Station!  I sure do miss that town.
